TV Dragon and Beer Baroness Manjit Minhas made a surprise announcement that she purchased the Holy Crap Cereal Company for $3.6 million on national television during the Dragons' Den Second Chance special on January 6, 2016.
"We were shocked at Manjit’s announcement made on the TV show. We have been working with Manjit for over four months on a marketing services contract and this came as a completely unexpected pleasant surprise," said Corin Mullins co-founder of Holy Crap.
"We haven't seen the details and timing of the purchase offer yet but we don't anticipate any problems as the Minhas Group did extensive due diligence prior to making their national TV announcement," said Brian Mullins CEO Holy Crap.
"Holy Crap’s online sales increased 600% the week after appearing on the 10th anniversary Dragons’ Den show and are looking at potentially doubling orders from Canadian grocery store chains in the next quarter,” Brian added, “We are already training new staff to handle the expected growth.”
