Organic Non GMO Kosher certifications for Wild Chia seeds

8 servings per bagX 8 per bag

Chia or Salvia hispanica l. is a recently revived oil seed crop from the Americas that was once more valuable than gold to the Aztecs. The Tarahumara, the greatest long-distance runners on the planet, have had a long history of using this slow-burning rocket fuel for both athletes and warriors alike.

Mix with yogurt, milk, juice, or nut-milk. It works great in smoothies, too!

Ingredients: organic chia.

    Holy Chia

In the ongoing search for natural fibre I have come across Holy ****’s Wild Chia. I mix 2 tbsp in yogurt, let it stand for 10 minutes, and voila - a healthy breakfast with a whopping 11 grams of fibre! I have been buying Wild Chia at Safeway in Saskatchewan. Strangely enough, Thrifty’s on Vancouver Island doesn’t handle it. However, the company shipped a box of it to me and now I have several months’ supply. Thank you, HapiFoods!
